One of a Kind

enjoy the view of Lake Erie in the Long Point Biosphere Reserve

Co-owner, Ryan Bosgoed is the third generation to farm this land.  The legacy of the Inasphere property began with his grandfather, who came to Canada from Holland. Being surrounded by marsh land meant being creative in utilizing the farmland by constructing a dyke with a dragline.   This dyke is monitored regularly and cleared of debris and beaver dams.  The main goal is to maintain water level and keep the fields dry.

Inasphere boasts some of the most fertile land in Norfolk County, the proximity to the water and the rich soil lends to the success of each harvest. A quick visit to ‘The Cabin’, with farm produce retail, or a relaxing visit to the tasting bar and patio will open your senses to the farm to table bounty that Inasphere proudly shares with all guests!

Who We Are

Meet the family behind Inasphere Wines

Ryan

Before taking over the family farm, Ryan, co-owner and 3rd generation operator of Inasphere, started his wine training at Niagara College and studied wine and viticulture. Upon graduating he grew his knowledge and skill while working at Jackson Triggs. Bringing his 4-year training under some of the best wine masters back to Norfolk was the beginning of diversifying the family farm. While keeping his vision for Inasphere in mind his intention was to bring this type of business back to the family farm. Ryan is our wine maker among other things!

Mason & Jacob

Mason (right) and Jacob (left) are always busy helping mom and dad out on the farm. They love being involved in the process especially harvesting and eating right in the field!

Shantel

Shantel attended Brock University and graduated with a degree in business. Utilizing her business background Shantel, sees to the business side of the winery & farm. Her day is balanced between this and working side by side with Ryan in the fields and assisting in the wine making.

Myla

Myla our trusty greeter. She is happy to greet all guests with a bark. She is looking to say hello and give you a tour while you, of course, you give her some love.
